Just can't leave the rally stages with our entry-level Nvidia cards. After the polish gravel we head to Powys, Wales in DiRT 4 at the wheel of a Hyundai i20 R5 to benchmark the smallest Pascal dGPU, the GT 1030 against the very first Maxwell chip, the GTX 750 Ti.
Both cards didn't put a foot wrong during the whole stage, the frame pacing is exceptional. Driving through the forest section of the stage is much more taxing compared to other part of the track - the frame rate is nearly halved in the woods. At 1080p and medium quality preset the game looks and drives fine on these cards - it's not a huge downgrade relative to ultra visuals. Hopefully some future DLCs will expand the available locations, it would be nice to have some more options.
