Let's take a look at the DX11-DX12 performance of RotTR developed by Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes. We are using the game's built-in benchmark with 720p low settings, FXAA enabled.
As the result chart shows, DX11 suffers from regular frame time blips, the anomaly is missing from the DX12 session - otherwise the performance numbers are the same. The Geothermal Valley scene has some serious loading / popping problem as the camera flies past the initial section of the scene. Interestingly enough, sometimes the DX12 codepath renders this section without excessive popping - in this case the loading of the scene takes much longer. All in all, the game looks stunning on the A10 APU, even with low settings.
